Job summary

Variety Wholesalers, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to support Roses stores as we provide essential products at great values to the communities we serve.

As a Roses/Roses Express Assistant Manager/Key Carrier you will provide excellent customer service and assist the Store Manager with daily operations, including hiring, training, opening and closing procedures, asset protection, policy compliance, and maintaining a professional, organized sales floor and stockroom.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training, and development of store team members.
• Support daily store operations as directed by the Store Manager.
• Open and close procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protect company assets, including cash.
• Maintain store and stockroom to company standards.
• Direct hourly Team Members when Store Manager is not on site.
• Implement Store Operations directives.
• Manage receipt/return of merchandise and freight flow.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Stock merchandise and ensure sales floor is impactful.
