Job summary

The Assistant Store Manager at O’Reilly Auto Parts assists the Store Manager with sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. You will lead the team in servicing customers and managing shifts in the manager’s absence.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training or equivalent certification is required.
• Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification are required.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom and ensure staff adhere to service programs.
• Assist in staffing, interviewing, and training; coach team members and track goals.
• Ensure all daily store operations including opening/closing duties and cash handling are performed.
• Process returns and exchanges, ensure invoicing before merchandise leaves the store.
