Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Garland, TX. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise flows smoothly from delivery to floor.

The role emphasizes leadership, loss prevention, and adherence to company policies while maintaining a clean, safe, and engaging shopping environment for customers and team members.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills required.

Mansioni

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing, and transferring merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain store fixtures and displays for promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom according to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Follow safety policies and ensure staff compliance.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
