Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive sales. You will supervise staff, manage scheduling, and maintain visual merchandising in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will also be responsible for coaching employees, upholding policies, handling cash and inventory, and supporting the Store Manager to ensure a positive, inclusive customer experience across all departments.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive sales while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for customer and team interactions.
• Ability to work unsupervised and manage store operations when needed.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints.
• Lead and develop store associates through training programs and goal setting.
• Enforce company policies, standards, and dress code while maintaining store security.
• Schedule and staff the store, recruit and train personnel, and ensure coverage during peak times.
• Ensure merchandising, signage, cleanliness, and visual guidelines are followed.
• Manage cash handling, inventory accuracy, and daily store performance.
