Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Wellington, FL. You will lead daily store operations, drive sales, oversee customer service, and coach a team to deliver an exceptional shopping experience.

You’ll ensure store standards, visual merchandising, and loss prevention while supporting the Store Manager. Your role involves scheduling, training, and performance management, with a focus on achieving KPIs and delivering outstanding customer service across all duties.

• Track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as MOTD for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is absent.
• Lead store associates through training programs and goal setting.
• Maintain discipline through verbal and written warnings where needed.
• Create a fun, productive environment and align team with company objectives.
• Ensure adherence to dress code and brand standards.
• Manage staffing and scheduling for peak periods as needed.
• Recruit and train store personnel on operations and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safeguarding of assets.
• Drive selling strategy to meet KPIs and sales targets.
• Resolve customer feedback and escalations to maintain satisfaction.
• Encourage participation in Lids membership programs and offers.
• Maintain visual merchandising and store cleanliness.
• Keep cash handling and till operations secure.
