Job summary

Sally Beauty is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations. You will hire, develop and lead store associates, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and adherence to brand standards.

This role emphasizes operating excellence, omni-channel execution, and employee development while driving KPIs and profitability. As part of development, you will cover Primary Duties when the Store Manager is not present and collaborate with leadership to

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
18 years of age or older required.
3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
1+ year prior management experience preferred.
Ability to lead or support a team to meet business objectives.
Effective communication with team and management.
Scheduling availability to meet business needs.
Cosmetology license desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

Oversee store associates to deliver exceptional client experiences and achieve KPIs.
Lead brand standards, merchandising, and omni-channel efforts including SFS/SDD/BOPIS.
Recruit, train and develop staff; coach underperforming employees as needed.
Manage store operations including inventory, payroll hours, and opening/closing procedures.
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
