Job summary

Journeys in Canovanas, PR is seeking a Store Leadership role to assist the Store Manager and Manager In Training with recruiting, hiring, training, and managing store personnel to achieve sales goals and protect company assets.

You will help recruit high-caliber employees, train a successful sales team, coach staff, and enforce company policies to drive performance and customer satisfaction. This position supports a path to Co-Manager and requires flexibility for night/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting and training store personnel
• Ability to manage store operations and loss prevention
• Willingness to work 45 hours per week and nights/weekends
• Age 18+ (full-time employment)

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals
• Assist in recruiting and hiring of high-caliber employees
• Assist in training and developing a successful sales team
• Provide feedback, coaching, and accountability to all employees
• Ensure that all company initiatives are implemented and aligned with direction
• Supervise and manage daily store operations in manager-in-training absence
• Supervise loss prevention practices
• Communicate store needs to management
• Resolve customer issues and provide a full-service experience
• Convey Journeys culture to the team
• Maintain excellent customer service and willingness to learn
• Complete training leading to Co-Manager position
