Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Pickens, SC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help manage daily tasks, ensure a welcoming shopping environment, and coach associates to deliver friendly service.

In this part-time role, you will assist with opening and closing procedures, merchandise organization, and adherence to company policies while contributing to a safe, organized, and profitable store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and handle standing, walking, and repetitive motions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays and ensure effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store areas to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and professional environment for customers and staff.
