Christy Sports in Colorado is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in driving sales, maintaining store presentation, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

You will assist with inventory, visual merchandising, and coaching a high-performing team. The role requires retail experience and supervisory leadership, with a passion for snow sports and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of retail experience, snow sports preferred.
• 2+ years in a supervisory role with coaching responsibility.
• Strong English communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Manager to ensure operational excellence, stepping in as acting manager when needed.
• Recruit, onboard, and coach a high-performing team; set the standard for exceptional guest service.
• Drive sales and rental revenue with a guest-first approach; engage with customers and train staff to deliver memorable experiences.
• Monitor expenses, manage staff scheduling within budget, and ensure policy adherence (cash handling, safety, loss prevention).
• Assist with inventory control, visual merchandising, and brand-aligned displays; meet inventory goals.
• Communicate clearly between Store Manager and team; align with company values and objectives.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and on-brand at all times.
• Stay up-to-date on products and trends; share knowledge with team and guests.
• Take on special projects to support the Store Manager and overall store success.
