Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Toledo, OH, to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, organize merchandise, and ensure the sales floor and stockroom remain well maintained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, kneeling, and bending.
• Strong written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment; customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and answer questions.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
