Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred and ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail or related environments is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as part of daily duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and provide leadership to store associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize merchandise transfer from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support loss prevention, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling processes.
• Maintain a well-stocked, clean store and secure assets.
• Assist in supervising and developing Store Associates and ensure a respectful environment.
• Ensure policies, safety guidelines, and proper store procedures are followed.
