Job summary

Dollar Tree in Slidell, LA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will supervise associates and help ensure daily tasks run smoothly on-site.

Responsibilities include merchandising, payroll/scheduling, cash handling, loss prevention, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment. This is a full-time on-site role with growth opportunities within Store Management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or similar environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Help organize merchandise from delivery to floor and maintain seasonal areas.
