Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required/preferred
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and lifting
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, maintain seasonal areas
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Process directives and communications related to store activities
• Maintain fixtures, displays, and overall promotional effectiveness
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll/scheduling, and cash handling
• Maintain neat and well-stocked sales floor and stockroom
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash
• Adhere to safety policies and store procedures
• Assist Store Manager with supervising and developing Store Associates
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Maintain cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash
• Other duties as assigned
