Job summary

Dollar Tree in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development.

This part-time role requires strong communication, leadership, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs while maintaining a clean, organized sales floor and stockroom.

You will assist in training associates, processing directives, and ensuring a positive shopping environment for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics, etc.) is required
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and answer questions or concerns
• Help supervise and develop Store Associates and ensure safe, respectful environment
