Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience managing store operations in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and provide customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Follow corporate directives and communicate store-related information.
• Maintain promotional fixtures, displays, and overall storefront presentation.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll/scheduling records, and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and clean, protect store assets, and ensure policy compliance.
• Support the Store Manager with supervision, training, and development of Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
