Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Bossier City, LA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development.

You will assist with daily store functions, train and supervise associates, maintain merchandise displays, ensure safety and policy compliance, and uphold the brand's service standards. This is a full-time, on-site role offering opportunities to lead a team, manage inventories, and contribute to a welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise between delivery, stockroom, and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Train and develop Store Associates and supervise staff.
