Job summary

Responsibilities include merchandising, processing directives, and ensuring compliance with company policies while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks (walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, etc.).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays; ensure effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits/receipts; support loss-prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked, organized store and stockroom.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines; ensure staff compliance.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain store cleanliness, restrooms, floors, trash, and overall presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
