Job summary

Maverik, Inc. is seeking team-oriented individuals to join our store team. You will lead by example, oversee daily tasks, and help train and mentor Team Members to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

This role requires a 21+ age minimum, flexibility for nights/weekends/holidays, and strong communication. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth at Maverik stores nationwide.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old required.
• Flexible schedule for 24/7 stores including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Remain calm under pressure and deliver exceptional service.
• Solid problem-solving skills with ability to analyze and resolve issues.
• 1 year+ supervisory experience preferred.
• ServeSafe Certification required or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and oversee all tasks and duties of Team Members.
• Assist with training, mentoring, and supervision of Team Members.
• Support safety inspections of facilities and equipment.
• Handle general reporting and bookkeeping responsibilities.

Starting pay: $17.95/hr - $19.95/hr. with both career and growth opportunities!

Physical Requirements

• This position involves frequent standing, walking, handling, and horizontal reaching. It also requires reaching above shoulder level and below the waist, as well as activities such as bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing. The role may involve lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures, while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
