The Crisis Center for South Suburbia (CCSS) and Neat Repeats Resale are seeking an organized, customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead our online sales program, and enhance the experience for customers, donors, and volunteers.

This hands-on role partners with the Store Manager to drive sales, merchandising, and operational excellence while backing up leadership and coordinating volunteers in a dynamic nonprofit retail setting.

Formación

• Associates degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of retail customer service experience.
• Cash handling, cashier, and POS system experience.
• Experience working with or coordinating volunteers.
• Strong clerical and mathematical skills.
• Strong organizational, project management, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of or demonstrated interest in resale, retail merchandising, and current resale trends.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with the Store Manager on daily priorities, projects, sales goals, and operational needs.
• Provide backup leadership and store oversight during the Store Manager's scheduled time off and as directed.
• Assist with opening, closing, cash handling, and daily store procedures.
• Verify cash drawers and reporting sheets and maintain accurate daily sales records.
• Maintain the established store cash bank and travel to the bank for deposits.
• Process donations and ensure merchandise moves through the store efficiently.
• Lead online sales by selecting merchandise, pricing, and listing online items.
• Create accurate product listings with measurements, condition, and pricing details.
• Maintain shipping supplies and determine cost-effective shipping options.
• Maintain online inventory and reports; meet online sales goals.
