Buff City Soap in Dubuque, IA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to maintain a high-energy, positive environment and drive store performance. You will lead Makery operations, coach team members, and ensure exceptional client experiences while meeting productivity goals.

The role requires strong leadership, sales ability, and effective communication across all levels, with possibilities for professional development and a casual dress code. Night and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• College education preferred but not required.
• Management and/or sales experience preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Skilled Trainer, motivator, and leadership qualities desired.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily Makery operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example to deliver a client-centric experience and meet personal sales goals.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean Makery environment.
• Establish clear goals for Team Members and provide coaching and feedback.
• Manage stock of raw materials, finished products and supplies.
• Generate sales reports and assist with Makery manager functions.
