Wayfair is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (ASM) of Logistics in Wilmette, IL to lead store operations, drive sales, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. You will balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution, using data-driven insights to optimize merchandising, inventory, and team performance.

You’ll manage a 60/40 blend of leadership and execution, coach a diverse team, and partner across departments to achieve store targets while modeling Wayfair’s values.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of leadership experience managing 10–30+ team members.
• 2+ years motivating high-performing teams, preferably in visual merchandising or store leadership.
• 3+ years of retail experience, ideally in home goods, furnishings, or interior design.
• Experience managing shipments, quality checks, inventory organization, and returns/exceptions handling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations, sales performance, asset protection, safety, and customer engagement.
• Open/close the store as needed as a keyholder.
• Inspire and lead teams with proven sales tactics to exceed goals.
• Provide actionable feedback and coaching to all teams.
• Deliver authentic, knowledgeable service and collaborate with other teams.
