Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking a store supervisor with the ability to lead, hire, and develop staff in a fast-paced retail tanning environment. The role requires a 5-week manager-training course and a focus on meeting performance metrics and sales growth.

You will oversee daily operations, ensure safety and compliance, manage expenses, and provide excellent customer service to sustain high standards and store performance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to effectively motivate others.
• Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 5-week manager-training course with performance metrics.
• Interview, hire, and develop store staff.
• Create a positive, respectful environment for employees and customers.
• Meet self-performance metrics and help develop employees to meet their metrics.
• Analyze daily sales information to maximize sales.
• Meet banking, safety, operations and legal requirements.
• Control expenses: labor, inventory and maintenance.
• Assign, manage, and follow up on daily tasks to keep store clean, stocked, and organized.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues.
