Hibbett I City Gear is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, sales, and customer service. The role requires knowledge across departments and readiness to supervise staff. The Assistant Manager steps in during the Store Manager’s absence and helps drive store profitability and policy adherence.

Key duties include staff recruitment/training, inventory awareness, and delivering outstanding customer service per the store’s standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail environment, preferably footwear/athletic apparel.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to supervise and train employees.
• Strong attention to detail and merchandising knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Assist Store Manager in maintaining store operations, merchandising, scheduling, and inventory control.
• Act as acting Store Manager in Manager's absence.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments.
