Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead store operations, drive sales, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will oversee daily activities, mentor staff, and ensure adherence to brand standards while maintaining a positive and engaging store culture.

Qualifications

Proven ability to drive sales while preventing loss.
Strong verbal communication and professional demeanor.
Ability to operate with little supervision and take initiative.

Responsibilities

Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer concerns.
Lead and develop store associates through training programs and goals.
Administer disciplinary steps including verbal and written warnings when needed.
Foster a respectful, inclusive team environment aligned with brand standards.
Coordinate staffing and call-ins to handle peak times when the Store Manager is away.
Recruit and train staff on store operations and procedures.
Ensure policy compliance and safeguard company assets and inventory.
Open and close the store following Operations guidelines.
