Job summary

Foot Locker in Ohio is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead with energy and purpose on the sales floor, driving sales results and coaching the team. You’ll support the Store Manager and help deliver an outstanding customer experience in a fast-paced sneaker locale.

You’ll open, close, and manage daily operations, maintain store standards, and use retail technology to aid staff. Flexible hours and leadership opportunities await.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key holding role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with energy and solutions on customer interactions.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and share product knowledge.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and closing the loop with customers.
• Assist with opening/closing, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Maintain store organization and safe operations.
• Provide Manager on Duty when scheduled and support hiring and training.
