Job summary

The North Face in Towson, MD is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead and develop a team, drive profitability, and ensure exceptional customer engagement across merchandising and store operations.

You will partner with the Store Manager, supervise daily operations, recruit and onboard talent, and foster an inclusive, high-performing retail environment. This role requires leadership passion and a track record of customer-focused results.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or store leadership experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred; hands-on achievements are valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and motivate a team of Brand Advocates to deliver best-in-class customer experience.
• Partner with Store Manager to drive profitability through customer engagement, merchandising and operations.
• In the Store Manager’s absence, assume full responsibility for the store.
• Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and development of team members.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and manage store floor coverage and daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and control expenses while driving shrink reduction.
