The North Face is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Portland, OR to lead a team of Brand Advocates and deliver best-in-class customer experiences. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive profitability through customer engagement, merchandising, operations, and community connections.

In the Manager’s absence, you will assume full store responsibility. We are looking for 2+ years of retail leadership, strong communication skills, and a passion for leadership and inclusion.

Qualifications

• 2+ years retail or store leadership experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods and lift light to moderate weight.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and motivate a team to deliver best-in-class customer experience.
• Partner with Store Manager to drive profitability through customer engagement, merchandising, and operations.
• In the Store Manager’s absence, assume full store responsibility.
• Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding with high-caliber talent.
• Provide ongoing training and development to team members.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and inventory control.
