Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling the assets and executing plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assumes responsibility of the entire store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Consult with the Store Manager to establish action plans for departmental and store-wide responsibilities.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating store personnel.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure departments meet responsibilities and standards.
• Keep the Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Ensure quality customer service is maintained.
• Perform general administrative duties and be trained in Store Manager responsibilities.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service per the customer service manual, including assisting customers during peak periods.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Uphold all company policies, procedures, and standards as listed in manuals and memos.
• Protect assets and financial information by maintaining internal controls and reporting potential fraud risk.
