Job summary

Follett Corporation is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support a Market Leader or Campus Store Manager in overseeing store operations at our campus locations. You will drive sales growth and maintain brand and operational excellence, delivering an engaging customer service experience.

You will mentor team members, monitor financial metrics, and assist with overall store operations while meeting business needs and maintaining Follett Values.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred.
• 0-5 years of retail or bookstore experience preferred; supervisory experience preferred.
• General computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise sales team activities, schedule hours, train staff, and ensure policies are followed.
• Greet customers, answer phones, provide information, and resolve issues to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Handle cash, deposits, and daily sales reporting; balance drawers and reconcile invoices.
• Stock shelves, merchandise displays, and maintain store cleanliness and organization.
