Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development.

You will assist with day-to-day functions, help customers in a positive, approachable manner, organize merchandise from delivery to floor, and support opening/closing duties while upholding store standards and safety. This role emphasizes leadership of associates and maintaining a welcoming shopper experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent.
• Retail store management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55lbs and frequent walking/standing.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives, maintain fixtures, and support store communications.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect store assets, including cash, and ensure safety procedures.
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
