Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will help supervise daily activities and ensure a pleasant shopping experience for customers.

This role requires strong communication, the ability to lead a small team, and a focus on accuracy and safety. Part-time positions are available at our Alabama location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates alongside the Store Manager.
