Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Bowling Green location. You will assist with daily activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise is properly handled from delivery through to the sales floor.

The role requires strong communication, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work in a high-energy team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized; protect assets including cash.
• Ensure adherence to policies and safety guidelines; supervise and develop store associates.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store and restrooms; general upkeep of floors and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
