Job summary
O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations in Xenia, Ohio. You will lead the team during shifts, drive excellent service and ensure processes are followed, including store transfers and returns.
The role emphasizes coaching staff, participating in recruiting, and maintaining banking and security procedures.
Qualifications
- Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification are required.
- Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
- Supervise and optimize customer service levels at the retail showroom.
- Assist in staffing and scheduling during peak hours to ensure service levels.
- Coach and mentor team members; participate in interviewing and hiring processes.
- Ensure all buy online/ship to store and transfers are processed accurately and timely.
- Oversee money handling, daily store opening/closing duties and security procedures.
