Discount Tire in Wake Forest, NC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead and mentor a team, ensure safe, efficient tire services, and foster a culture that promotes from within. You will drive guest satisfaction, inventory control, and day-to-day store operations while building a rewarding career.

You’ll work on the floor with your team, setting schedules, coaching 4–5 technicians, and upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Lead and mentor a team to deliver safe, timely tire and wheel service.
• Provide exceptional guest service and safe tire handling.
• Develop and implement store processes to optimize inventory and staff performance.
• Uphold safety standards and promote from within.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Busting tires: Install, rotate, balance, repair, and clean tires and wheels.
• Coaching a team: Train, mentor, and coach a team of 4–5 technicians.
• Managing: Organize new and existing inventory of tires, wheels, wiper blades, and lug nuts.
• Delighting customers: Providing an inviting, easy, and safe customer experience.
• Growing: Learn by doing with hands-on, on-the-job training and development.
