The role involves helping with daily store activities, organizing merchandise, and supervising associates to ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (preferred) and prior store management in retail or grocery is welcome.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures when needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping (payroll, scheduling, deposits).
• Maintain a well-stocked, clean sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash, and follow safety policies.
• Supervise, train, and develop store associates; promote a positive environment.
• Ensure cleanliness of the store, including restrooms, floors, and waste management.
• Other duties as assigned.
