Job summary

Vans is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in a fast-paced retail environment. You will lead, develop, and motivate a team of Brand Advocates to deliver a best-in-class customer experience and partner with the Store Manager to drive profitability through engagement, merchandising, and operations.

In the Store Manager's absence, you will assume full responsibility for the store, recruit and onboard new talent, and provide ongoing training and feedback.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or store leadership experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proven ability to drive sales and profitability.
• Strong coaching and team-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform light physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and motivate a team of Brand Advocates to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Partner with Store Manager to drive profitability through engagement, merchandising, operations.
• In Store Manager's absence, assume full responsibility for the store.
• Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new talent.

• Maintain visual merchandising and stock replenishment per brand directives.
