Dairy Queen Grill and Chill is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead dining room and kitchen operations, coach the team, and uphold Dairy Queen's fan-first service standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will help manage COGS and labor, ensure safety and sanitation, and support the General Manager with hiring, training, and daily store activities to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

This role requires 1–3 years of leadership in quick-service restaurants and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of high-volume restaurant leadership experience, preferably in quick service
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Proven track record of effectively managing COGS and labor
• Strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices
• Must be ServSafe certifiable
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in varying temperatures

• Be an ambassador of the Dairy Queen brand and maintain professional performance
• Greet and welcome fans to the brand
• Exceed fan expectations with timely and quality service
• Manage inventory and cash controls in line with brand standards
• Incorporate PRIDE systems into daily operations for shift success
• Assist GM with hiring, training, coaching, and developing staff
• Create a safe, clean, and inviting environment for fans and team members
• Support local store marketing activities and competitive analysis
