Job summary

Family Dollar LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store functions, help customers, organize merchandise, and oversee opening and closing procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred), store-management experience in retail, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store-management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and functions.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and maintain promotional fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and protect company assets.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates; ensure a respectful environment.
