Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will help organize merchandise, assist in payroll and scheduling, and ensure a safe, clean store environment. This role emphasizes leadership, communication, and hands-on mentoring of associates.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, work in a fast-paced team, and provide excellent customer service daily. Part-time hours may apply at this location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail/store management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to train and develop store associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Assist in organizing merchandise from delivery to floor and seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Help train and develop store associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
