Responsibilities include supervising staff in the Manager’s absence, coordinating selling, restocking, and scheduling, and ensuring excellent service across departments. This position reports to the Store Manager and is non-exempt.

Competenze

• Experience in a retail environment; footwear/apparel preferred.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling assets and store operations.
• Consult with Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume store responsibility in the Store Manager's absence.
• Oversee personnel recruiting, training, and evaluation with Store Manager.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Ensure profitability by monitoring inventory, sales statistics, and expenses.
• Lead staff to meet department responsibilities and store standards.
• Communicate inventory movement and customer trends to the Store Manager.
• Maintain quality customer service per the customer service manual.
• Produce and deliver excellent customer service as per policies.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by Hibbett I City Gear.
