You will help supervise and train Store Associates, ensure a positive and safe environment for customers and staff, and contribute to loss prevention and store maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain directives.
• Retail store experience in a consumer environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain storefront fixtures and displays for promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, handle damaged goods, and assist with record keeping and cash handling.
• Keep store areas well stocked and organized to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure staff follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
