You will supervise daily activities, manage merchandise flow, uphold safety and policy compliance, and protect store assets while delivering a positive, efficient shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Previous store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll and scheduling.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom.
• Protect store assets including cash.
• Ensure store policies and safety guidelines are followed.
• Help Store Manager supervise and develop associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Ensure bathrooms and floors are kept clean.
