Job summary

Shoe Sensation, Inc. is hiring an Assistant Manager in Lexington, TN to lead the sales team and drive store performance. This role blends customer service with people leadership, coaching and training staff, and ensuring a great shopping experience.

You will greet customers, guide purchases, manage deposits, and coordinate daily store operations while supporting the Store Manager and promoting internal growth for employees.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales and managing people.
• Willing to open/close the store and work alone at times.
• Able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, climb a ladder, reach, and lift 25–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide shopping experiences.
• Sell shoes, apparel, and accessories to customers.
• Ring up sales and process payments.
• Help restock and keep the store neat and organized.
• Assist Store Manager with recruiting, hiring, and training the sales team.
• Coach and discipline store staff to improve performance.
• Lead the team to deliver the best customer sales experience.
• Prepare deposits and make deposits at the bank.
• Process freight and set the sales floor as shipments arrive.
