Job summary

Shoe Sensation, Inc. seeks an Assistant Manager to lead a dynamic sales team in our Mount Sterling store. You will help customers choose footwear and related products while supervising staff and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license and own transportation to make deposits.
• Experience in retail sales and supervision of a team is preferred.
• Able to open/close the store and work alone at times.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide their shopping experience.
• Sell shoes, apparel and accessories and process payments.
• Ring up sales in the computer, handle cash and card transactions.
• Help restock the sales floor and keep the store clean and organized.
• Assist Store Manager with recruiting, hiring and training the sales team.
• Coach and discipline staff to provide the best customer experience.
• Lead the team to ensure optimal sales results and deposits are made.
• Process freight and set the sales floor as items arrive.
