Qualifications

• Retail store management experience in a retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits; assist with loss prevention tasks.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure staff follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop store associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Keep store clean and presentable, including bathrooms and floors; manage waste.
• Other duties as assigned.
