Job summary

Boot Barn in Ukiah, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to work with the Store Manager to drive sales, lead a team, and deliver exceptional customer service.

You will coach partners, manage scheduling, train staff, and help plan events while upholding company policies and standards. This role requires flexibility, strong communication, and a commitment to community and store performance.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and/or 2 to 4 years of experience in retail store management.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts to meet business needs including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility with scheduling and willing to work extended hours when necessary.
• Up to 15% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service & selling culture and exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Review goals with partners, providing coaching, actionable feedback, and recognition of excellence.
• Develop individual team members to meet various career goals within the company.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to adjust store schedules and hire for the team.
• Plan and execute volume driving events with local community outreach.
