Job summary

Citi Trends in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations, lead a team, and drive sales performance. You will partner with the Store Manager to hire, onboard, and develop store associates while upholding customer service standards.

The role requires strong communication, scheduling, and coaching skills. You’ll ensure loss prevention, merchandising execution, and policy compliance, while maintaining a safe, welcoming shopping environment for guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of experience in a Assistant Manager or retail leadership role preferred.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience helpful.
• Strong communication, organizational and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer experience standards.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies and standards.
• Supervise and support associates in sales, inventory, cash handling and service.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding and training of staff; manage staffing levels.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members.
• Maintain a safe, organized store environment and enforce loss prevention.
• Support merchandising, operational, and visual standards; perform other duties as needed.
