Job summary

Journeys is a teen retail leader with an energetic in-store experience across 800+ stores in the US, Puerto Rico, and Canada. We seek a Store Manager in Training to help recruit, train, and lead personnel to achieve sales goals while protecting company assets.

You’ll coach a high-energy sales team, implement company initiatives, and ensure outstanding customer service. Weekend and evening availability is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management preferred.
• 6–12 months retail sales experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Completion of training programs leading to Co-Manager or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals and standards of performance.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring of high caliber employees with in-store needs.
• Assist in training and developing a successful sales team.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and accountability to all employees by enforcing policies.
• Supervise and manage daily store operations in absence of Store Manager.
