Job summary

Hibbett I City Gear is seeking an Assistant Manager in Vallejo, CA to support the Store Manager in daily operations and customer service excellence. You will help with selling, restocking, merchandising, and staff supervision to ensure store goals are met.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling the store's assets.
• Consult with the Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume store responsibilities in the Store Manager's absence.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating store personnel.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Maintain quality customer service per the customer service manual.
