Job summary

Foot Locker Albuquerque is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who leads with energy, ownership, and purpose on the sales floor, coaching the team to deliver outstanding service and achieving sales goals. You’ll assist the Store Manager in operations, safety, and execution while keeping customers at the center of every decision.

The role requires 1+ year retail experience in leadership, strong communication, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key holding role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with energy and solutions in every customer interaction.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and keep customers excited to shop.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and helping close the loop with customers.
• Help manage daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Follow safety and SOPs to protect customers, teammates, and product.
• Take an owner/operator mindset and address issues to maintain standards and store execution.
• Leverage retail technology and digital tools to enhance the customer experience and operations.
